Ramadan is coming,

Roll out the red carpet,

Our guest is nearly here,

The heart is the target,

Mercy, forgiveness and liberation,

The journey to salvation,

Let the heart beat Allah,

And the Messenger live in the silence between,

Turn our backs on the dunya,

March toward the light of this deen,

Let the closeness be the desire,

So close, we can’t feel the heat from the fire.
